Adventures, Vernon's Premiere Dog Daycare and Training Centre, is looking to add one more permanent part time person to our amazing team. Our dog daycare model is different; with dedicated, individualized attention, enrichment activities and micro training, your work with us will be very personally and professionally rewarding. Every day is different. Our ideal candidate has some experience working with dogs, is very comfortable and confident in a customer facing role, is a mature adult, and has a strong work ethic. If you don't have experience, but love dogs and have the right calm and confident energy, then please read on!

What the Role Looks Like...

- Meeting and greeting customers at morning check in and afternoon check out.
- Supervise and engage with dogs in both playgroups and individually to ensure their safety, enjoyment and social skill development.
- Monitor dog behavior and ensure safety of the group, paying attention to dog's individual needs.
- Cleaning up after the dogs as required
- Assist with feeding as required
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as required, such as moving dog crates or supplies.




- Ensure all safety protocols are followed to create a secure environment for both pets and staff.

Who You Are...

- Previous experience in dog care puts you at the top of the list! If you are not experienced, it's about your energy and ability to connect with the dogs.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and confidently with customers is essential.
- Physical ability to be on your feet and remain active throughout the shift.
- A genuine love for dogs and a commitment to their well-being.
- You are trainable, want to learn and are eager to become part of a team.
- Ability to work early mornings and late afternoons.
