Poochiniis Dog Spa is a busy, growing grooming salon dedicated to providing exceptional care and creating a positive experience for every pet and their owner. We take pride in quality grooms, outstanding customer service, and maintaining a supportive, team-focused environment.

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Dog Groomer with 2–3 years of professional grooming experience to join our team. The ideal candidate is confident grooming a variety of breeds, has excellent handling skills, and is passionate about animal care and client satisfaction.

Schedule

● Monday to Friday.

● Every second Saturday is required.

● Full-time position.

Compensation

We offer a compensation structure based on experience and the right fit for our team:

● 50% commission, or

● Competitive hourly wage (to be discussed based on experience and qualifications).

Key Responsibilities

● Perform breed-specific and pet-style grooms to a high standard.

● Bathe, dry, brush, clip, and style dogs safely and efficiently.

● Trim nails, clean ears, and complete basic hygiene services.

● Assess each dog’s coat and skin condition and communicate any concerns to clients.

● Ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of every pet throughout the grooming process.

● Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary grooming station.

● Build positive relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service.





● Work collaboratively with team members while managing appointments efficiently.

● Follow salon policies and maintain a professional appearance and attitude.

Qualifications & Skills

● 2–3 years of professional dog grooming experience required.

● Confident grooming all coat types and a variety of breeds.

● Strong scissoring and finishing skills.

● Safe animal handling and restraint techniques.

● Excellent time management and organizational skills.

● Friendly, positive, and dependable.

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

● Strong communication and customer service skills.

● Ability to lift dogs weighing up to approximately 70 lbs (with assistance for larger dogs when needed).

● Groomers are expected to provide and maintain their own professional grooming tools and equipment.
