About us

BrightLine Lighting is a small, owner-operated Edmonton company that installs landscape lighting and permanent holiday lighting. You'd work directly with the owner — no call centre, no layers of management. We're looking for one reliable person to help us reach more homeowners.

The role

You'll go door-to-door in neighbourhoods where we're already working, introduce BrightLine with a short, friendly pitch, and book free in-home lighting estimates with interested homeowners. You're not selling or installing — your job is starting conversations and setting quality appointments.

What you'll do

Knock doors in assigned residential areas (weekday afternoons/evenings + some Saturdays — the best hours to catch homeowners home)

Deliver a short pitch (fully trained, script provided)

Book estimate appointments into our calendar

Track your results — three numbers a shift: doors / conversations / booked

What we're looking for

Confident and friendly — comfortable talking to strangers and fine hearing "no thanks"

Reliable and self-motivated; you can work independently

Presentable and professional

Reliable transportation is an asset

Canvassing or sales experience is a bonus,



not required — attitude matters more

How the pay works

$18/hour base — you're paid for your time

$50 bonus for each estimate you book that the homeowner signs and goes ahead with. Bookings that don't turn into a job still count toward your record, but the $50 is tied to the signed install.

Optional: occasional paid install help — $20/hr

From time to time you may be asked whether you'd like extra paid hours helping install landscape or permanent holiday lighting alongside the owner — a good way to earn more and learn the trade. This is completely optional: it's only ever offered, never required, and you're free to decline any time with no effect on your setter role. Paid $20/hour, separate from your setter pay.
