We are currently looking to hire our next great team member for the position of Class 1 Driver located in Quispamsis, New Brunswick. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is safety-minded, dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently while supporting a strong branch team.

What You'll Do

As a Class 1 Driver, you'll play a key role in safely delivering and picking up rental equipment, tools, and materials for customers and branch operations. This position supports customer service, equipment availability, and the successful launch of our new Quispamsis branch.

- Deliver and pick up equipment, tools, and materials at customer locations, jobsites, and branch locations in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Operate company vehicles in compliance with applicable transportation requirements, company policies, site rules, and safe work procedures.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate driver logs, inspection records, and delivery documentation.
- Ensure equipment, tools, and materials are properly loaded, secured, transported, and unloaded to reduce safety risk and prevent damage.
- Navigate construction sites, yards, confined work areas, and changing road or weather conditions safely and professionally.
- Represent Brunswick Lift Rentals positively when interacting with customers, site contacts, contractors,



and internal team members.
- Communicate delivery delays, access concerns, site hazards, equipment issues, customer concerns, or safety risks promptly.
- Assist with equipment movement, yard organization, loading and unloading support, and other branch duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

- Valid Class 1 driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- MELT completion where required by licence class and jurisdiction.
- Experience operating commercial vehicles and transporting equipment, tools, or similar materials.
- Knowledge of safe vehicle operation, load securement, site access, and transportation documentation expectations.
- Ability to conduct vehicle inspections and maintain accurate driver logs, delivery records, and related documentation.
- Strong customer service,



communication, time management, attention to detail, and recordkeeping skills.
- Ability to work legally in Canada.

Preferred

- Experience in equipment rental, construction, industrial operations, transportation, or delivery environments.
- Experience transporting aerial lifts, forklifts, material-handling equipment, tools, propane, or similar rental assets.
- Familiarity with load securement, site safety, customer delivery procedures, and branch equipment workflows.
- Additional safety, equipment, forklift, aerial lift, or transportation-related training is considered an asset.
