Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable DZ Driver/Operator, willing to become a Hydrovac Operator and/or Volumetric Truck Operator, to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating various heavy equipment. As a driver/operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating trucks which require a DZ license to operate to assist with underground utility work tasks.

Responsibilities

- Operate trucks requiring a DZ licenses to operate and associated equipment for excavation tasks.
- Ensure the secure operation of heavy machinery including but not limited to excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, dump trucks, graders, and water trucks.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Collaborate with team members to execute excavation projects efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.




- Assist with horizontal drilling operations as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications

- Valid DZ driver’s license
- Experience in driving heavy-duty vehicles and equipment
- Strong understanding of route navigation and freight handling procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety practices while driving
