Job Title: DZ Driver / Mover

Pay Rate: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable, hard-working DZ Driver / Mover to join our team in Scarborough. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for safely operating our commercial vehicles to transport items while actively assisting with physical moving duties, loading, and unloading.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver who enjoys physical work, interacting with clients, and working as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

- Commercial Driving: Safely operate DZ-class trucks to and from client locations across the GTA in compliance with traffic laws and road safety rules.

- Hands-on Moving: Actively lift, load, secure, carry, and unload furniture, boxes, and equipment at residential and commercial sites.

- Vehicle Inspection: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, keep clean logbooks, and report any maintenance or mechanical issues immediately.

- Safety & Cargo Protection: Properly wrap, pad, stack,



and secure items using straps and moving equipment to prevent damage during transit.

- Customer Service: Interact professionally and respectfully with customers on-site, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish.

Qualifications & Requirements

- License: Valid Ontario DZ Driver’s License with a clean commercial driving record (Abstract/CVOR may be requested).

- Experience: Prior experience operating DZ trucks and relevant moving, delivery, or general labor experience.

- Physical Capability: Ability to handle heavy physical lifting (50+ lbs regularly), standing, bending, and carrying items up and down stairs.

- Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctual, dependable, and a solid team player.
