Duties
- Design and implement age-appropriate curriculum activities that support early childhood development and learning goals
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a welcoming environment
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, providing tailored support to meet individual needs
- Ensure health, safety, and well-being of all children by maintaining a clean, organized classroom and following safety protocols
- Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, through personalized caregiving strategies
- Encourage social skills, emotional regulation, and cooperative play among children
- Document daily observations and maintain accurate records of developmental milestones and activities
Experience
- Prior experience working with young children in educational or caregiving settings
- Classroom experience in early childhood education or related fields
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
- Robust understanding of early childhood development principles and best practices
- Proven ability to engage children through creative teaching methods and nurturing care
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families and team members
