Our Vancouver Support Office is inviting applicants to fill the key role of full time Ecommerce Photographer. This position is responsible for photography products for the website. The ideal candidate possesses a technical photography background and has a desire to work in the ecommerce fashion industry, working cross-departmentally to ensure deadlines are met with the Ecommerce, Merchandising and Marketing teams.

They are also willing to assist with creative photoshoots when required. They are organized, energetic, positive, and eager to learn about gravitypope’s expansive product selection while working with a team of fellow photographers and creatives.

Salary range is typically $47,000 - 53,000 per annum. Compensation is based on relevant experience, job-related skills, and performance. Duties and responsibilities include:

- Operate photo equipment to capture images of footwear and accessories
- Photograph clothing and accessories on model as well as flat
- Cull and edit imagery, then upload to website
- Ensure quality and timely upload of imagery
- Organize and coordinate with models and stylists to schedule ecommerce photoshoots
- Update shooting logs and maintain organized shot lists
- Keep product photography files organized so they can be easily referenced
- Organize, download, and edit product images from vendors for use on website
- Maintain a clean and organized studio
- Assist with post shoot clean up and ensure product is promptly returned to stores
- Document brand, style, price,



and size information for featured product
- Assist on creative and campaign shoots if needed
- Flexible to occasionally assist on shoots outside of normal work hours

The ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:

- 2+ years of experience in product or ecommerce photography
- Knowledge of photography and production equipment
- Completion of post-secondary degree/diploma/certificate in photography
- Proficient with Adobe Photoshop and Capture One
- Experience with Shopify is an asset
- Excellent numerate and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize, as well as ensure a high quality of work completed within an acceptable timeframe
- High attention to detail
- Interest in ecommerce fashion and trends
