Role Description The Electrician role at POOLE ELECTRIC is a full-time, in office position based in Edmonton, AB. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in accordance with applicable codes and safety standards.
Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams, running wiring and conduit, installing fixtures and panels, and performing routine inspections. The Electrician will diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, recommend solutions, and complete corrective actions efficiently.
The role also requires collaboration with project managers and other trades, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring all work areas remain safe and organized.

Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge of electricity and electrical principles.
- Hands-on experience in electrical work, including installation and wiring.
- Skills in maintenance & repair of electrical systems and components.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues and identify effective solutions.
- Background or familiarity with electrical engineering concepts is an asset.
- Relevant trade certification or journeyperson status in Alberta (or eligibility to obtain).
- Working knowledge of local electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Ability to use standard electrical tools and testing equipment safely and effectively.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites within the Edmonton area as required.
