The OpportunityOur Client, Canada’s largest provider of chronic pain management, is seeking Neurologists or Physiatrists experienced in nerve conduction studies and electromyography (EMG) to join their state-of-the-art, CPSA-approved interdisciplinary clinics in Edmonton and Red Deer, Alberta.Demand is high – both clinics have long EMG waitlists, with capacity for two current EMG Physicians in each location. You’ll have access to modern diagnostic suites, dedicated support staff, and the autonomy to shape your practice.

The Client operates a network of over 30 multidisciplinary pain management clinics across Canada. The Edmonton location is their flagship Western Canadian site, spanning 20,000 sq. ft. and hosting more than 25 physicians across multiple specialties,

Role HighlightsPerform independent EMG and nerve conduction studies in fully equipped EMG suitesBuild your ideal practice – EMG-only or combined with consults/interventions.Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team including physiatrists, anesthesiologists, neurologists, sports medicine physicians, nurses, psychotherapists, MRTs/CLXTs, and athletic therapists.Flexible schedule – typical clinic hours 8:00 am–4:00 pm, with optional evenings/weekends.Autonomy in clinical approach with administrative/operational support.

QualificationsMedical Degree and post graduate training and certification in PM&R; or Neurology.



US Board Certified Physician are eligible for independent license in OntarioPhysicians with Royal College Approved Jurisdiction certification are eligible for a full independent license with the CPSAPhysicians with Royal College Practice Eligibility Route and hold the MCCQE1 exam are eligible for a supervised license with the CPSA.EMG/nerve conduction study experience required.Collaborative, team-oriented approach.Physicians with training and certification to perform radiofrequency ablation (RFA) procedures and advanced cervical spine/neck interventional procedures are of particular interest.In accordance with immigration requirements, preference given to Canadian citizens and Permanent Residents.

Compensation / OverheadFee-for-service model; physicians retain 70% for EMG and consults; 50% for fluoroscopy work.High-volume potential; established EMG waitlist.High Earning Potential — $800,000 - 1,000,000+ annually.
