Position: Equipment Operator

Compass Access Solutions Ltd. is a thriving organization that offers a complete line of matting solutions throughout Alberta and British Columbia. As an industry leader in matting solutions, we are currently hiring experienced Equipment Operators who will be based in the County of Grande Prairie No. 1 area.

As an Equipment Operator, you will support field operations for Compass Access Solutions by operating loaders and excavators laying and placing access mats. You will work closely with the field operations team and customers ensuring work is completed in accordance with all Company and client safe work procedures and policies.

Main Responsibilities:

· Picking up and laying mats with both the loader and excavator

· Loading and unloading mats from trucks

· Servicing equipment properly and on schedule

· Working with the field supervisor and other operators in a safe and orderly manner

· Completing daily equipment and vehicle inspections

· Ensuring all required paperwork and reporting is completed on time

Skills and Qualifications:

· Previous experience operating equipment within a similar industry

· Possess the ability and desire to follow Compass policies and procedures and adhere to established safety standards





· Ability to communicate well and work both independently and in a team setting

· Possess a clean driver abstract

· Bridge and access matting experience an asset

· Ability to work in a drug and alcohol-free environment
