Prairie North Construction is recruiting Heavy Equipment Operators and Labourers for a Civil Construction Project near Sherwood Park Edmonton, Ab

This position is based near Sherwood Park Edmonton, Ab.

This is a project-based position

Positions Needed: Dozer, Hoe (GPS) Operators & Labourers

This position will be responsible for the following duties but not limited to:

Duties Include:

- Operate Heavy Equipment as it applies to ditching, sloping, grading, reclamation, stripping, clean-up etc. along with the ability to read grade stakes.
- Experience with Steep Inclines and congested areas
- Installation of silt fence and geotextiles.
- Hand raking granular materials
- Experience working around Heavy Equipment.
- Shoveling Equipment tracks.
- Cleaning up Construction Site
- Follow directions from Foreman/Supervisor
- Operate and maintain equipment in a safe and productive manner.




- Carry out minor maintenance and inspection for equipment and reporting any deficiencies.
- Knowledge of earthworks, road building, road construction, reclamation etc.
- Ability to work as a team and take direction.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Qualifications:
- Possess 1+ year’s experience
- Capable of physical Labour
- Must pass a competency assessment on specified equipment
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
