Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Experienced Excavator to join our energetic construction team. In this role, you will operate heavy excavation equipment to support various construction projects, ensuring efficient and safe completion of tasks. Your mechanical knowledge and expertise with heavy machinery will be vital in maintaining smooth operations on-site.

Duties

- Operate excavators safely and efficiently to perform digging, trenching, grading, and material handling tasks
- Assist with the operation of other heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and pavers (as needed)
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on excavator and/or related machinery to ensure optimal performance




- Collaborate with team members to execute construction plans accurately and on schedule
- Follow all safety protocols and site regulations to maintain a secure work environment
- Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, inspections, and project progress

Skills

- Valid certification/licensing
- Proven experience operating excavators in a construction setting with a strong understanding of heavy equipment functions
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues and perform basic maintenance on machinery
- Proficiency with Caterpillar (CAT) equipment, Hitachi, or similar brands
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices for heavy equipment operation
- Robust teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurate
- Nice to have: valid commercial license to move equipment to another location if needed
