We Care Home & Yard Maintenance is a family-owned and operated business and a trusted local provider of lawn, garden, landscaping, and property maintenance services throughout the Tri-Cities area, including Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Pitt Meadows, and surrounding communities.

We are a small, close-knit team that takes pride in providing reliable, high-quality service to our residential and strata clients.

We are currently looking for a dependable, self-motivated, and experienced Lawn & Garden Maintenance Worker/Landscaper to join our team full-time.

About the Position:

The main focus of this position is lawn mowing and regular garden maintenance at multiple properties throughout the day. This includes operating lawn maintenance equipment, maintaining garden beds, and driving between scheduled properties.

Because driving is a major part of this role, applicants MUST have a valid Class 5 BC driver's licence and be comfortable driving a company work vehicle. Please do not apply if you do not have a valid driver's licence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform scheduled lawn maintenance, including mowing, line trimming/edging, blowing, and general clean-up
- Maintain residential and strata garden beds, including weeding, deadheading, pruning, and general garden care
- Drive a company vehicle between scheduled properties throughout the Tri-Cities area
- Trim hedges and prune shrubs and small trees using proper techniques
- Identify common plants, shrubs, weeds, and invasive species
- Assist with mulch installation, lawn repairs, spring/fall clean-ups, and other seasonal landscaping work
- Load, unload, and safely transport tools and equipment
- Properly maintain and care for company tools, equipment, and vehicles
- Work independently as well as alongside other members of our team
- Complete work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail

Requirements:

- Valid Class 5 BC driver's licence is required — this is essential for the position




- Comfortable and confident driving a company work vehicle between job sites
- Previous professional lawn maintenance, gardening, or landscaping experience preferred
- Experience operating commercial lawn mowers, line trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, and other landscaping equipment
- Knowledge of plants, shrubs, pruning techniques, and common weeds is an asset
- Reliable, punctual, self-motivated, and able to manage a daily route
- Physically capable of performing outdoor manual labour, including lifting, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Available to work throughout the Tri-Cities area
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn

What We Offer:

- Full-time hours, primarily Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
- $22–$28 per hour, based on experience and skill level
