Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Operator to join our construction and heavy equipment team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy machinery, including dozers, excavators, backhoes and skidsteers. This role involves working on diverse construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and precision in all operations. Responsibilities

- Operate heavy machinery such as dozers, loaders, excavators and backhoes with precision and safety.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in site preparation, grading, excavation and other construction activities.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Coordinate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Maintain detailed records of equipment usage and maintenance activities.
- Support other construction tasks as needed, including material handling and site cleanup.

Qualifications





- 5-10 years proven experience operating heavy equipment such as dozers and excavators (5-40 ton)
- Experience working on residential, commercial and road reconstruction sites
- Ability to cut and maintain grade within 2" or less
- Experience working and excavating over and under all utilities
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Valid driver’s license
- Robust understanding of construction safety standards and protocols.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy loads when necessary.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal Pay: $27.00-$35.00 per hour
