Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Facility & Range Maintenance Technician to oversee the upkeep and operational efficiency of our indoor facilities and shooting ranges. In this role, you will perform routine custodial duties, minor repairs, preventative maintenance and range areas are maintained to the highest standards of safety, appearance, and functionality. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment for visitors and staff alike, supporting the overall success of our facility.

Duties

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on the shooting ranges.
- Perform daily cleaning of the shooting ranges, retail area, classroom, offices, washrooms and common areas.
- Maintain and clean shooting stalls, targets carriers, brass collection and firing line surfaces.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust and sanitize all customer and employee spaces.
- Perform routine facility inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain an organized maintenance shop and inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies.
- Ensure all work complies with company safety policies, WHMIS requirements and range safety procedures.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs,



and safety checks to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience with hand tools, power tools, and routine maintenance on mechanical systems.
- Previous experience in custodial, janitorial, building maintenance, or facility operations is considered a strong asset.
- Ability to safety use hand tools, power tools and cleaning equipment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a solid work ethic.
- Ability to work early morning hours and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

- Basic knowledge of building systems, minor plumbing, electrical and/or carpentry repairs.
- WHMIS certification
- First Aid/CPR certification is an asset
- HVAC experience or basic repair knowledge
- R/PAL License, not required but considered an asset

Pay: $16.50 per hour
