Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Family Law Lawyer to join our dynamic legal team. Your expertise will help navigate complex family law matters, including divorce, child custody, property division, and spousal support.

Duties

- Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients involved in family law cases, including divorce, child custody, visitation rights, and adoption proceedings
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools like LexisNexis to stay updated on relevant laws and precedents
- Draft and review legal documents such as petitions, affidavits, settlement agreements, and court pleadings with precision and clarity
- Negotiate settlements and agreements that align with clients’ goals while ensuring fairness and compliance with legal standards
- Prepare cases for court by organizing evidence, developing strategies, and presenting compelling arguments during hearings or trials




- Maintain detailed case files and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal procedures
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop tailored legal strategies that address unique circumstances

Experience

- Proven experience practicing family law with a strong understanding of relevant statutes and procedures
- Demonstrated proficiency in legal research tools such as LexisNexis or Westlaw
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to reach amicable settlements when possible
- Strong writing skills for drafting clear, persuasive legal documents and correspondence
- Ability to analyze complex issues quickly and develop effective solutions through thorough research and strategic thinking
- Prior experience in legal drafting for family law matters is highly desirable
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively advocate for clients both in writing and verbally
