We are installing a fiber network in central Alberta, currently working near Buck Lake Alberta using Directional boring and Plowing. We are looking for a Laborer to join our team and help with various tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing manual labor such as lifting, carrying, cleaning, shoveling and watching reel trailers. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be able to work independently or as part of a team, and have the physical strength and stamina to complete the job. The Laborer must also be able to follow instructions and safety protocols. Experience running skid steer, mini excavator, backhoe, and directional drill are an asset.
The successful candidate may also grow with the company into full time position and learn how to operate the drilling equiptment.
Responsibilities
- Follow instructions from supervisors.
- Be able to lift and move heavy objects.
- Work in a variety of weather conditions.
- Be able to work in a team environment.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
- Be able to use basic hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and hammers.
Job Type: Seasonal Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
