Field Marketing Specialist

Position Summary:

The Ventilation business segment of Zehnder Group North America comprises two operating locations (London, Ontario, Canada and Hampton, New Hampshire, USA) and serves the market with both Zehnder and Lifebreath ventilation product solutions.

We are seeking a highly organized, energetic, and customer-focused Field Marketing Specialist to support the growth of our ventilation business across North America. Reporting to the Ventilation Marketing Lead, this role actively supports Territory Managers, distributor partners, and manufacturer representatives and is responsible for executing approved regional marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, product adoption, and business growth.

The Field Marketing Specialist owns the execution of field marketing activities including channel partner support, product launch activation, trade shows, customer events, marketing collateral deployment, and regional marketing programs. Working closely with Sales, Product Management, and Engineering, this role helps bring strategic marketing plans to life in local markets.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who combines strong project management, organizational, and communication skills with a passion for customer engagement and field execution. They are equally comfortable coordinating events, managing multiple projects, supporting channel partners, and representing the Zehnder and Lifebreath brands at customer-facing activities throughout North America.

Travel throughout Canada and the United States (approximately 50%) is required and consists primarily of channel partner visits, trade shows, customer events, product launch activities, and internal business meetings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Channel Marketing & Territory Support

- Lead execution of approved local marketing initiatives in partnership with Territory Managers, distribution partners, and manufacturer representatives.
- Support implementation of marketing campaigns designed to increase brand awareness, generate demand, and support sales growth within assigned territories.
- Manage deployment and distribution of marketing materials, promotional assets, displays, and product launch tools to distributors, representatives, and customers.
- Serve as a key point of contact for channel partners requiring marketing resources, event support, and promotional materials.
- Identify and communicate field insights, customer feedback, and opportunities to improve future marketing initiatives.

Product Launch & Marketing Program Execution

- Assist in the field execution of product launches,



including coordination of launch materials, distributor communications, customer events, training, and marketing activation activities.
- Support deployment of product launch assets and ensure sales teams, channel partners, and customers have access to required materials and resources.
- Collect feedback from customers, distributors, representatives, and Territory Managers to support future marketing planning and continuous improvement.
- Track and report on program participation, campaign performance, and field activity outcomes.

Events, Trade Shows & Customer Engagement

- Plan and coordinate logistics for trade shows, customer events, lunch-and-learns, product demonstrations, and other field marketing activities.
- Manage event timelines, registrations, vendor coordination, shipping requirements, and on-site execution.
- Maintain inventory of trade show assets, promotional items, displays, and event materials.
- Coordinate shipment, setup, and return of marketing assets for trade shows and customer events.
- Attend industry trade shows, customer events, and distributor functions as a Zehnder brand representative.
- Capture event photos and videos, customer success stories, and field content to support post-event marketing activities.

Marketing Operations & Collateral Coordination

- Coordinate development, production, and deployment of marketing collateral in collaboration with internal marketing resources, external agencies, printers, and subject matter experts.
- Support maintenance and distribution of sales and marketing materials, including brochures, sell sheets, banners, presentations, promotional items, and other customer-facing assets.
- Assist with updates to marketing collateral and product information to ensure materials remain accurate, current, and aligned with business objectives.
- Coordinate vendor relationships related to printing, promotional products, events, and marketing programs.
- Maintain inventory of marketing assets, collateral, trade show materials, and promotional items.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and Engineering to support the successful execution of marketing initiatives and product launches.
- Help ensure marketing materials and customer-facing assets are consistent with established brand standards and messaging.

Performance & Reporting

- Track and report on participation, engagement, and outcomes related to marketing programs, customer events, product launches, and trade show activities.
- Provide regular reporting and field feedback to support marketing planning, budget allocation, and program optimization.




- Assist with maintenance of CRM and marketing automation data related to field marketing initiatives and customer engagement activities.

Other Responsibilities

- Support additional business initiatives and special projects as assigned.
- Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to take on new responsibilities in support of business objectives.

Qualifications & Education

- University degree or college diploma in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 3-5 Years of experience in field marketing, channel marketing, event marketing, sales support, or a related commercial role.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Experience coordinating trade shows, events, product launches, or customer training activities.
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Valid passport and ability to travel throughout Canada and the United States (approximately 50%).

Preferred

- Experience working with distributors, manufacturer representatives, dealers, or channel partners.
- Experience in HVAC, building products, construction, engineering, or other technical B2B industries.
- Knowledge of B2B marketing principles and customer engagement programs.
- Working proficiency of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop for basic content updates and collaboration with external creative resources.
- Experience working with external agencies, printers, and marketing vendors.
