Life Start Training is looking for a passionate and energetic First Aid Instructor to join our growing Calgary team. We believe learning life-saving skills should be engaging, interactive, and memorable—not just another classroom lecture.

As a CSA-aligned and OHS-approved Canadian training provider, we deliver hands-on, scenario-based first aid training that prepares participants to respond confidently in real emergencies.

What You'll Do

As a First Aid Instructor, you'll:

- Deliver engaging, hands-on First Aid and CPR training.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Facilitate both blended and in-person training sessions.
- Support participant communication and post-class follow-ups.
- Perform light administrative tasks, including certificate verification and data entry.
- Help maintain training equipment and classroom supplies.
- Support community outreach and help promote upcoming courses.
- Participate in ongoing instructor development and quality improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who:

- Enjoys teaching and working with people.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is organized,



detail-oriented, and dependable.
- Is confident speaking in front of groups.
- Has experience in healthcare, education, customer service, or training (an asset but not required).
- Holds a valid Class 5 driver's license and has reliable transportation.
- Is comfortable with occasional local travel.

Compensation & Benefits

- $22.00–$25.00/hour, based on experience.
- Certification and training
- 5% bonus on outreach or private client bookings generated.
- Occasional paid travel opportunities.

Schedule

- Full-time (32–40 hours per week)
- Four to five shifts per week
- Occasional evenings, weekends, or travel may be required.

Training & Start Timeline Successful candidates will receive paid training before teaching classes.

- Online Training: Mid to Late August 2026
- In-Person Training: Last Week of August 2026
- Expected Start Date: September 2026
