ACE Vaughan Tennis Academy is seeking a part-time Fitness Coach to work with our Junior Academy athletes. This role focuses on developing age-appropriate athleticism, movement quality, strength, coordination, and injury prevention for junior players across multiple stages of development.

The Fitness Coach will work collaboratively with the Academy Director and Head Coaches to ensure fitness programming aligns with on-court goals and supports long-term athlete development.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver structured fitness sessions for Junior Academy players
- Design and implement age-appropriate warm-ups, movement training, and conditioning
- Support injury prevention, mobility, coordination, and overall athletic development




- Collaborate with Academy Director and Head Coaches on programming goals
- Adapt fitness content to support tennis-specific movement and performance
- Maintain a positive, professional, and development-focused setting
- Monitor athlete engagement and progression alongside coaching staff

Qualifications

- Background in fitness, kinesiology, sport science, or related field
- Experience working with youth or adolescent athletes (tennis or sport-specific experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of movement fundamentals and athletic development
- Ability to work collaboratively within a coaching team
- Reliable, organized, and professional
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
