Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely entry and processing
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while balancing registers at shift end
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed, contributing to a smooth workflow in the restaurant environment




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables efficiently without compromising service quality
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere

Qualifications

- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to handle food safely and maintain proper sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and making change accurately
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
- Experience in food handling, serving, or kitchen environments is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation practices is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced restaurant setting
