Role Description The French Second Language Teacher role at YouLearnt is a remote teaching position focused on delivering engaging live online French lessons to learners at various proficiency levels. In this role, the teacher prepares structured lesson plans, selects appropriate learning materials, and uses YouLearnt’s virtual classroom features to support interactive instruction, exercises, and assessments.

Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting live classes, monitoring learner progress, providing feedback, adapting instruction to different learning styles, and updating course content as needed. The teacher collaborates with the YouLearnt team to refine curricula and may participate in creating quizzes and other digital learning resources aligned with program goals.

Qualifications

- Strong Language Teaching and Teaching skills,



with demonstrated experience in French as a second or foreign language.
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Education methods, including designing structured, goal-oriented lessons for diverse learners.
- Background or interest in Literature and French cultural topics to enrich language instruction.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills in an online setting, including comfort with live video platforms and digital tools.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, French, Linguistics, or a related field; relevant teaching certifications (e.g., FLE) are an asset.
- Experience teaching remotely or in blended learning environments, with the ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently across time zones.
- Competence in assessing learner progress and adapting instruction to different proficiency levels and learning needs.
