The Clubhouse at Gateway Golf Ltd. is looking for an energetic, friendly, and dependable Server/Bartender to join our team. We are a restaurant and entertainment venue that prides itself on providing exceptional customer service, quality food, and a welcoming atmosphere for golfers, families, leagues, and special events.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Greeting guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Providing exceptional customer service throughout each guest's visit
- Taking food and beverage orders accurately using our POS system
- Serving food and beverages efficiently and professionally
- Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Mixing cocktails, pouring beer, and serving wine responsibly
- Verifying identification and complying with Ontario liquor regulations
- Processing cash, debit, and credit card transactions accurately
- Opening and closing the restaurant and bar
- Stocking and restocking the bar, coolers, and service stations
- Setting up dining areas before service
- Clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary dining room and bar
- Cleaning glassware, bar equipment, and service areas
- Assisting with food running and supporting teammates during busy periods




- Answering guest questions and making menu recommendations
- Assisting with tournaments, leagues, private bookings, and special events
- Following all Smart Serve, health, and safety regulations
- Performing other front-of-house duties as required

Qualifications
- Previous serving and bartending experience is required.
- Valid Ontario Smart Serve Certification is required.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled, friendly, and positive attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
