Full-Time Building Superintendent (Live Off-Site) –

Location: Bedford, NS

Schedule: Monday–Friday + On‑Call (Evenings & Weekends as Needed)

Term: 1-Year Contract

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Building Superintendent for a 75 unit condominium located in Bedford. This is a full-time, live‑off‑site position on a one-year term, ideal for someone with robust cleaning, maintenance, and customer-service skills who is comfortable being on call outside regular business hours.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform daily cleaning of common areas (lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, etc.)
- Maintain cleanliness of garbage/recycling rooms and exterior entry areas
- Conduct regular inspections of building systems and report issues to management
- Perform minor repairs and coordinate contractors when necessary
- Respond to resident inquiries promptly and professionally
- Support move-ins and move-outs as needed
- Be available for after-hours and weekend on-call emergencies

Qualifications





- Previous experience as a building superintendent or in property maintenance preferred
- Strong cleaning and general maintenance skills
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
- Strong customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to perform physical work (lifting, bending, stairs, equipment handling)
- Basic computer and smartphone skills (email, reporting apps)
- Must pass a criminal background check
