LABADA Laundry, Dry Cleaners & Alterations is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Linen Presser & Laundry Attendant to join our team at our Coquitlam location.

This is a Permanent Full-Time position (5 days per week). Applicants must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays as part of their regular schedule.

Key ResponsibilitiesLinen Pressing & Finishing

- Operate commercial linen pressing and finishing equipment
- Press and finish linens, uniforms, and garments to professional standards
- Inspect finished items to ensure quality and presentation
- Fold, organize, and prepare completed orders for delivery or customer pick-up

Laundry Operations
- Wash, dry, sort, and fold laundry efficiently and accurately
- Pre-treat stains and prepare items for wet cleaning when required
- Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area

General Shop Support
- Assist with receiving and organizing customer orders
- Package, label, and organize completed orders
- Support other laundry and production duties as required

Ideal Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in commercial laundry, housekeeping, hotel laundry, garment care, or a production workplace is an asset
- Experience operating commercial pressing or finishing equipment is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Good English communication skills
- Residing in Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, or nearby is an asset





Physical Work Environment This position involves physical work and requires candidates who are comfortable with:
- Working in a hot and humid environment due to commercial steam presses and laundry equipment
- A loud production environment with operating machinery
- Standing and walking for extended periods throughout the shift
- Repetitive lifting, folding, pressing, and sorting of linens and garments

Schedule Requirements
- Permanent Full-Time (5 days per week)
- Weekend availability is mandatory
- Must be able to work both Saturdays and Sundays
- Flexibility to work additional shifts when needed is an asset
