Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Full-Time Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our vibrant team. Duties

- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth for children
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care at all times
- Maintain accurate documentation of children's progress, daily routines, and incident reports
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children's development and daily experiences
- Collaborate with team members to create inclusive classroom environments that support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements
- Support children's transition into the classroom through welcoming interactions and consistent routines
- Use computer skills to update records, prepare reports, and communicate with families electronically

Requirements





- Valid registration as a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) in good standing
- Fluency in English; proficiency in French is considered an asset
- Experience working with children across various age groups in early childhood settings
- Knowledge of child development principles, early childhood education practices, and special education strategies
- Bilingual abilities are preferred to support diverse family communities
- Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members
- Excellent organizational skills to manage classroom activities, documentation, and time efficiently
- Proficiency in computer operation for record-keeping, communication, and educational planning
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to guide and support colleagues as needed
- Writing skills necessary for detailed documentation and reporting purposes
