Duties

- Install, inspect, repair, and maintain gas piping systems and appliances according to safety standards and technical specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute projects
- Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, or other methods to secure piping and components as needed
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on gas systems to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices to ensure precise fitting and alignment of components
- Collaborate with construction teams on rigging, manufacturing processes, or installation projects requiring mechanical knowledge




- Troubleshoot system issues efficiently by diagnosing problems through schematics and technical manuals

Skills

- Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, and general welding techniques for durable pipe connections
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems related to gas appliances and ventilation requirements
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with confidence
- Mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems, maintenance procedures, and construction practices
- Skilled in the use of hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pipe cutters, and calipers
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical data accurately
- Experience with rigging techniques for lifting or positioning heavy equipment or piping assemblies
- Familiarity with schematics for troubleshooting complex gas systems or plumbing layouts
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to gas handling and system installation in compliance with industry standards
