What You'll Be Doing

As a Quarry Labourer, you'll play an important role in supporting our daily quarry operations. This is a physically active position where approximately 90% of your time will be dedicated to general labour duties, including but not limited to:

- Assisting with the extraction, processing, and stockpiling of aggregate and stone materials
- Performing a variety of general labour tasks throughout the quarry
- Shoveling, raking, and clearing materials from work areas
- Loading, unloading, and moving materials, tools, and equipment
- Supporting heavy equipment operators with daily production and maintenance activities
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Inspecting work areas and reporting equipment issues or safety concerns
- Assisting with scaling rock, clearing debris, and maintaining haul roads
- Safely operating hand tools and small power equipment,



including cut-off saws
- Following daily production schedules and supervisor direction
- Adhering to all company safety policies and wearing required PPE
- Assisting with other quarry-related duties as required

- Are physically fit and capable of lifting 50 lbs. regularly
- Take pride in working safely and producing quality work
- Are dependable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic
- Thrive in a team environment while also working independently
- Are eager to learn new skills and build a long-term career
- Have strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Have previous heavy equipment experience (considered an asset but not required)

Experience & Qualifications The following qualifications are considered assets:

- Experience in quarry operations, aggregate production, construction, landscaping, heavy civil, or general labour
- Experience using hand tools and power equipment safely
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver's Licence
- Reliable transportation to and from the quarry (camp accommodations are available employees)
- Ability to complete all required site-specific safety orientation and training

Working Conditions This is a physically demanding outdoor position that offers rewarding, hands-on work.

- Outdoor work in all weather conditions
- Walking on uneven terrain, climbing, bending, lifting, and carrying materials
- Exposure to dust, vibration, noise, and heavy equipment
- Early morning starts with occasional overtime during peak production periods
