ChaiGuys is currently located at the University of Ottawa. We are currently recruiting a motivated member to join our exciting team.

Position Title: General Staff

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service

-Greet customers with a friendly and positive attitude

-Assist customers in choosing menu items and provide recommendations

Food and Beverage Preparation

-Prepare and package food items from warmers

-Craft a range of beverages, including chai, smoothies, and other specialty drinks

Sales

-Accurately and efficiently process customer orders, ensuring that they receive their desired items promptly

Inventory Management

-Receive and inspect incoming inventory shipments

-Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to management

Cleanliness and Hygiene

-Maintain a clean and organized work area while regularly cleaning and sanitizing equipment and utensils

-Follow sanitation and food safety guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy environment

Communication and Teamwork

-Collaborate with team members to ensure productive operations

-Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to address customer concerns and maintain quality service

Required Skills:

-Bilingualism (French and English)

-Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment





-Strong attention to detail

-Excellent customer service skills

-Quick learning and adaptability to grasp our menu and operational processes

-Strong communication skills to effectively work with team members and management

-Exceptional interpersonal skills to provide a welcoming and positive customer experience

-Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderately heavy objects

Assets:

-Prior experience in the hospitality and food industry

-Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends
