TwinCon Enterprises Ltd. is an established civil construction company specializing in earthworks, excavation, rock breaking, drilling and blasting, underground utilities, and subdivision development throughout British Columbia.

We are currently seeking an experienced GPS Trained Dozer Operator to join our team on a project in Meziadin, BC. This position is ideal for a highly skilled operator who is proficient with GPS machine control systems and has experience working on large-scale civil earthworks projects.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Site Superintendent, the GPS Dozer Operator will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating dozers equipped with GPS machine control systems to complete earthworks, grading, road construction, and site preparation activities.

The successful candidate will work closely with surveyors, supervisors, and other equipment operators to achieve production targets while maintaining precise grades and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate GPS-equipped dozers on civil construction projects.
- Utilize GPS machine control systems to achieve accurate grades and elevations.
- Complete rough and finish grading to project specifications.
- Perform stripping, stockpiling, road construction, embankment building, and site preparation.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, grade plans, and project specifications.
- Work safely around underground and overhead utilities, other equipment, and personnel.
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and routine equipment maintenance checks.
- Report equipment defects and maintenance requirements.
- Maintain accurate daily equipment and production records.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and project team members.




- Assist with other site duties as required.

Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum5 years of experience operating dozers in a civil construction environment.
- Demonstrated experience operating GPS machine-controlled dozers.
- Experience with Trimble, Topcon, or Leica GPS machine control systems is considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of grading, earthworks, and road construction.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and grade plans.
- Proven commitment to safe work practices.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated.
- Ability to work in a remote project environment and extended shifts as required.
