Responsibilities

- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure comfort and dignity.
- Support medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences, promoting healthy eating habits.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and enhance mental well-being.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a hygienic workplace.
- Monitor clients’ health status, report changes or concerns to healthcare professionals promptly.




- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper techniques to prevent injuries for both clients and caregivers.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement care plans that meet each individual’s unique needs.

Skills

- Prior experience in assisted living or nursing home environments demonstrating familiarity with senior care practices.
- Proven ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or cognitive impairments such as dementia.
- Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety guidelines.
- Competence in basic household chores including cleaning and meal preparation.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing care requirements while maintaining professionalism.
- Experience working in home care settings is highly desirable for this role.
