Role Description The Part time Group Host & Entertainer is an on-site role in the Greater Toronto Area, responsible for breaking the ice and driving the social energy of our weekly events. Far beyond a passive guide, you will actively keep groups thoroughly entertained, laughing, and highly engaged with the programming and—most importantly—with each other. Day-to-day tasks include greeting guests with infectious enthusiasm, running interactive games, managing group flow, and using dynamic crowd facilitation to blend cliques so that every single guest feels included and no one is left standing alone.

You will collaborate closely with operations and sales teams to manage basic administrative check-ins, oversee room setups, monitor overall safety, and turn standard logistics into part of the entertainment. Qualifications

Dynamic Group Facilitation:



Natural ability to command a room, host interactive activities, and instantly break the ice to get people talking and laughing together.

Inclusive Social Chemistry: Exceptional emotional intelligence and sharp observation skills to notice if anyone is pulling away, with the instinct to subtly bring quieter guests into the fun so no one feels isolated.

Strong Communication & Stage Presence: High verbal energy, a great sense of humour, active listening skills, and total comfort using your personality as the main entertainment engine.

Customer Service Mindset: A friendly, patient, and guest-first attitude that makes people feel welcomed, valued, and looked after from the moment they arrive.

Adaptable Team Collaboration: Comfort coordinating basic logistics on the fly, whether communicating with venue staff, greeting arrivals, or helping with basic event setup and cleanup.

Physical Stamina & Energy: Ability to stand, move, and maintain a high level of welcoming performance energy for extended periods during events.
