Role Details

When you volunteer at the Canadian Cancer Society you have real impact. It takes all of us to take on cancer. Volunteer with us at one of our signature events in your community on event day. You can choose a specific role and shift(s) based on availability. You can also assist us when we need event support on an on-call basis in your own community.

Description The Gala des Grands Chefs will take place on Tuesday September 29 at Espace Paddock located at 200 Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

Volunteers will provide warm and welcoming services to guests during the event. You'll set the tone with guests during guest departure by dustributing gift bags.

Duties may include

- Help guess on their way out and assist with the distribution of gift bags
- Work closely with event staff to address any questions or concerns guests may have.




- Assist the event team with last-minute adjustments as required.

Why we need you A meaningful volunteer experience at our iconic Gala des Grands Chefs A meal will be provided to volunteers at the beginning of the shift.

What we're looking for

- Friendly, enthusiastic, and welcoming demeanour.
- Solid verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand and move around for extended periods.
- Positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent guest service.
- Experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus.
