We are seeking a passionate and energetic Hairstylist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will deliver top-tier hair styling services while ensuring a welcoming environment for clients. Your expertise in hair styling, customer service, and retail sales will help create memorable experiences that keep clients coming back. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills within a thriving salon environment.

Responsibilities

- Provide professional hair styling, cutting, coloring, and finishing services tailored to each client’s preferences and needs
- Deliver outstanding customer service by actively listening and communicating clearly with clients to understand their desired look
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
- Upsell retail products such as shampoos, conditioners, styling tools, and treatments to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue




- Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments efficiently
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and industry best practices through ongoing education
- Build solid relationships with clients to foster loyalty and encourage repeat visits

Experience

- Proven experience in hair styling or cosmetology with a valid license or certification as required by local regulations
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with diverse clients and team members
- Strong knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards in a salon setting
- Demonstrated ability to upsell retail products naturally during consultations
- Prior experience working at the front desk or in retail sales within a salon environment is preferred
- Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service with a lively, positive attitude
