Position Overview

As our Head Brewer, your primary responsibility will be to craft and brew exceptional beers that resonate with our community. You will be at the forefront of our brewing operations, ensuring quality, innovation, and sustainability.

Responsibilities

Brewing Excellence: Produce high-quality beer that is consistent in taste, aroma, color, carbonation, ABV, and clarity.

Communication: Maintain clear and strong communication regarding production status to all relevant team members.

Hygiene & Safety: Oversee the cleanliness of the brewery and equipment, ensuring the safe operation of all brewing and production machinery.

Innovation:



Develop new and more efficient brewing processes and procedures.

Maintenance: Troubleshoot equipment issues, perform basic maintenance, and coordinate with third parties for advanced servicing.

Product Development: Provide significant input, direction, and creativity in the development of new beer recipes.

Additional Duties: Undertake other duties and responsibilities as directed.

Requirements

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of commercial brewing experience.

Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to North Vancouver.

Education/Preference: Candidates with formal Brewing Education or significant brewing experience will be given preference.

Pay: $55,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
