The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy construction and drilling equipment used in geoexchange projects, including engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and drivetrains.

Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting, replacing or repairing components, and keeping accurate maintenance records.

The role also involves working with field teams to minimize equipment downtime, following safety procedures, and ensuring tools, parts, and equipment are properly organized and maintained.

The mechanic will collaborate with supervisors and project managers to prioritize work, support efficient project completion, and uphold company standards for reliability and safety.

What You Have

- Strong mechanical aptitude with a valid 421A Red Seal license
- Experience diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and more.
- Proficiency in hydraulic systems, including reading schematics and using diagnostic tools.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs, recordkeeping, and parts inventory management.




- Valid driver’s license; ability to travel to job sites is required.
- Comfort working in outdoor construction environments and varying weather conditions.
