Heavy Equipment Technician – Mobile Service Truck

We are looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team working out of a mobile service truck in a mining environment.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician who enjoys field work, troubleshooting, and working on a variety of large mining and heavy construction equipment.

Equipment You’ll Work On

- Large mining excavators
- Haul trucks
- Dozers
- Graders
- Wiggle wagons
- Other heavy mining and support equipment

Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain a fully equipped mobile service truck
- Perform field repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine systems
- Repair and maintain heavy mining equipment
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and carry out repairs efficiently in the field
- Complete service reports and maintenance documentation
- Maintain tools, parts, and service truck inventory
- Work safely around large mobile equipment and in an active mine workplace




- Communicate effectively with operators, supervisors, and maintenance personnel

Qualifications
- Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification preferred
- Mining or heavy equipment experience required
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diagnostic skills
- Experience working independently from a service truck
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment in the field
- Valid driver’s licence
- Strong safety mindset and work ethic
- Mine-site experience and required safety tickets are an asset

What We Offer $55–$70/hour depending on experience 14 days on / 14 days off

Rotating day and night shifts

Overtime paid after 10 hours per day or 44 hours per week
