Home Envy Furnishings is seeking a strong and reliable person to work as a swamper to assist our Home Delivery Lead.

You'll assist the Lead with loading the truck with the days deliveries, riding along to the home and helping carry in, set up and assemble home furniture.

The furniture you'll deliver is primarily solid wood and well constructed leading to some heavy pieces. You'll need to be strong, fit and energetic. You'll also need to be professional as our Delivery Team Members play a huge impact in overall customer experience.

Duties:

- Assist with organizing and loading the delivery truck
- Opening packaging and prepping items before carrying into the home
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed
- Communicate effectively with homeowners to understand their needs




- Provide exceptional customer service at all times

Qualifications:

- Prior experience in a warehouse or moving environment is preferred
- Valid Class 5 License with clean abstract is a must (however in most cases no on-job driving is required)
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
- Solid communication skills to interact with homeowners and team members effectively

Part-time work requiring 2-3 days of availability including Saturdays Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
