About the Role

As a Homemaker, you will provide essential household and personal support services that help individuals maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment. Working closely with individuals and their support networks, you will promote independence, well-being, and quality of life through practical daily living assistance.

Responsibilities

- Provide housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and household management services to maintain a safe, clean, and organized living environment.
- Support individuals with daily routines, community participation, and activities that promote independence, well-being, and quality of life.
- Monitor and report health, safety, and well-being concerns, ensuring appropriate follow-up and adherence to organizational standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Build positive, respectful relationships with individuals, families,



and support networks while maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries.
- Participate in team meetings, training, and other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

- Certificate in a related Human Services, Social Services, Community Support, Disability Support, or equivalent field.
- Minimum one (1) year of recent related experience.
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- A Class 4/5 Driver’s License is required as a condition of employment.
- Current First Aid/CPR and food secure certification is an asset.
- Licensed homes require a negative TB test result
- Must be legally able to work in Canada
