Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate In-Clinic Physiotherapist to join our team in Morris, Manitoba. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions by delivering personalized treatment plans directly within our multi-disciplinary clinic. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the local community through expert, evidence-based care that promotes independence and optimal physical function.
The Physiotherapist will operate with high clinical autonomy while collaborating closely with our in-house multidisciplinary support network to improve overall patient well-being. Preferably able to see patients mobile in Steinbach, MB as well.
Duties
- Assess conditions: Evaluate patients' physical conditions through detailed clinical examinations and diagnostic testing.
- Design plans: Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique rehabilitation goals.
- Deliver therapy: Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional mobility training using clinic equipment.
- Track progress: Monitor patient recovery and dynamically adjust treatment strategies based on objective clinical milestones.
- Educate patients: Teach patients and families about injury prevention, home exercise protocols, and secure body mechanics.
- Document care: Maintain accurate documentation of clinical visits, progress notes, and outcomes using our digital EMR platform.
- Collaborate internally: Work alongside clinic physicians, specialists,
and multidisciplinary staff to ensure seamlessly coordinated patient care.
- Manage workspace: Ensure clinical treatment areas and modalities are safely prepared, organized, and properly maintained.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited post-secondary institution.
- Licensure: Valid registration and active licensure with the College of Physiotherapists of Manitoba (CPM).
- Experience: Prior experience working in a private practice or outpatient clinic setting is preferred.
- Clinical skills: Strong autonomous decision-making skills to safely manage varied and complex orthopaedic caseloads.
- Physical ability: Physical capacity to perform manual therapy techniques and safely assist patients during mobility training.
- Interpersonal skills: Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate, professional, and culturally respectful approach.
- Communication: Strong communication skills for delivering patient education and collaborating effectively with the clinic team.
Additional Assets We are highly interested in candidates who possess advanced training or certifications in one or more of the following areas:
- Dry needling or acupuncture
- TMJ
- Vestibular rehabilitation
- Concussion management
- Pelvic health physiotherapy
