At Up Fundraising, we're looking for compassionate, confident, and motivated individuals to join our team as In-Hospital Fundraisers for the launch of the Marotta Family Hospital fundraising program.

As an In-Hospital Fundraiser, you'll be the welcoming face representing the Niagara Health Foundation within the hospital. Every day, you'll engage with patients, families, visitors, staff, and members of the community, sharing inspiring stories about the Foundation's impact and inviting supporters to become monthly donors.

Your conversations will help provide life-saving equipment, innovative healthcare programs, and exceptional patient care throughout Niagara Health.

What You'll Do

- Represent Up Fundraising and the Niagara Health Foundation with professionalism, integrity, and compassion.
- Start respectful, genuine conversations with patients, visitors, families, hospital staff, and community members.
- Share inspiring stories about the Foundation's mission and the life-changing impact of monthly donor support.
- Encourage individuals to become monthly donors and help strengthen healthcare in the Niagara community.
- Create positive donor experiences through authentic, empathetic, and engaging conversations.
- Demonstrate professionalism, situational awareness, and sensitivity while working in an active healthcare environment.
- Maintain a calm, approachable, and welcoming presence throughout every shift.
- Use secure digital tools, including tablets, to accurately complete monthly donor registrations.
- Work toward individual and team fundraising goals while delivering exceptional donor experiences.
- Follow hospital privacy,



confidentiality, health, and safety protocols at all times.
- Support your teammates and contribute to a positive, collaborative, and mission-driven team culture.

What Makes You a Great Fit You're someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people and understands the importance of empathy, professionalism, and respectful communication.

We're excited to meet people who have:

- Experience in customer service, fundraising, sales, hospitality, healthcare, nonprofit, or another customer-facing role (an asset, but not required).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence initiating conversations with members of the public.
- Compassion, empathy, and emotional intelligence.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and goal-oriented mindset.
- The ability to remain resilient and professional when faced with rejection.
- Robust judgment and situational awareness in a healthcare setting.
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team environment.
- A passion for community impact and supporting healthcare.
- Fluency in English.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada.

Compensation

- $18.75-$30.00 per hour, including performance-based bonuses.
- Paid training starting from day one.
- Ongoing coaching, mentorship, and professional development.
- Opportunities for advancement into Team Lead, Campaign Supervisor, Assistant Manager, and Campaign Manager roles.

Physical Requirements This role involves working in an active hospital environment and requires:

- Using tablets and digital devices to enroll donors securely.
- Working with energy, attentiveness, and professionalism in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
