Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Cleaner to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety across our industrial work sites. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of industrial equipment, work areas, and facilities using appropriate cleaning tools and chemicals
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including break rooms, restrooms, and storage spaces
- Follow established safety procedures during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling processes in accordance with environmental standards
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing additional cleaning or maintenance
- Use commercial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and vacuum systems effectively
- Support team efforts by adhering to schedules and completing assigned cleaning tasks promptly
Qualifications
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience in an industrial environment is preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and the safe handling of cleaning chemicals
- Ability to operate commercial cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality standards
- Valuable physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
