Role Description This full-time Insurance Broker Producer role is a hybrid position based in Milton, ON, with flexibility for partial work from home.

The Insurance Broker

Producer will develop and manage a book of business by prospecting new clients, conducting needs assessments, and recommending appropriate insurance and financial products. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing personalized advice, preparing quotes, processing applications, and ensuring accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.



The role also involves delivering ongoing client service, reviewing coverage and retirement plans regularly, and coordinating with carriers and internal partners to resolve inquiries or issues. The successful candidate will actively participate in sales meetings, training, and mentorship programs to continuously improve professional skills and support the firm’s growth objectives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Brokerage and general Insurance, including understanding products, coverage options, and regulatory requirements.
- Candidates should possess skills in Finance and Retirement Planning, with the ability to analyze client needs and recommend appropriate long-term solutions.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, including relationship building, active listening, and responsive client support.
- Relevant provincial insurance licenses (or eligibility to obtain them promptly) and prior experience in an insurance brokerage or financial advisory environment are beneficial.
- Strong communication, sales, and negotiation abilities, along with proficiency in basic office software and CRM tools, are preferred.
- Demonstrated integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setting are highly valued.
