Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, analysis, and implementation of geotechnical solutions for a variety of infrastructure and construction projects. Your expertise will help ensure the safety, stability, and sustainability of ground-related engineering works.

Responsibilities
- Conduct site investigations, including soil sampling and laboratory testing, to gather essential geotechnical data
- Analyze subsurface conditions using advanced modeling techniques and geotechnical software tools
- Prepare detailed reports, technical memos, and project documentation to communicate findings clearly and effectively
- Assist in designing foundations, retaining structures, and earthworks by applying principles of soil mechanics and system design
- Collaborate with project managers, civil engineers, and construction teams to develop practical solutions that meet safety and regulatory standards
- Utilize AutoCAD for drafting schematics, cross-sections, and construction details related to geotechnical designs
- Support project management activities such as scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure timely project delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering with a focus on geotechnics, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred
- Proven experience in geotechnical investigations, laboratory testing, and fieldwork
- Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to soil-structure interaction and ground improvement techniques
- Proficiency in geotechnical software tools such as PLAXIS or GeoStudio for modeling and analysis
- Knowledge of CAD software including AutoCAD for creating detailed schematics and drawings
- Familiarity with programming languages like Python or MATLAB for data analysis and scripting purposes
- Experience with construction practices, systems engineering principles, and project management methodologies
- Hands-on laboratory experience with soil testing procedures is highly desirable
- Excellent data collection skills coupled with the ability to interpret complex datasets accurately
- Strong research capabilities to stay current with emerging geotechnical methods and standards
