Pay: $20.00–$21.00 per hour, based on experience

Schedule: Monday to Friday – Day Shift - 40 hours per week

We are looking for a reliable, hardworkingJanitor to join our team and help keep our facility clean, safe, and welcoming for employees, customers, and visitors.

As a Janitor, you will be responsible for the daily cleaning and sanitation of our offices, washrooms, kitchens, production and warehouse office areas, public spaces, and exterior areas. You will also assist with light maintenance, event set-up and general health and safety activities.

What You'll Do

- Clean, vacuum and mop floors throughout the facility
- Clean and sanitize washrooms, kitchens, offices, changerooms and public areas
- Replenish soap, paper towels, and other sanitary supplies
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, tables, counters and appliances
- Empty garbage, recycling, organic waste and shredded paper
- Maintain a clean and organized supply of cleaning products and equipment
- Assist with event set-up and clean-up, including moving tables and chairs, washing dishes and removing garbage
- Keep exterior areas, entrances, patio and parking areas clean and free of debris
- Remove snow and apply salt to entrances and other areas when required
- Complete regular building and safety inspections and report any hazards or maintenance concerns
- Perform minor maintenance and repairs as assigned
- Complete monthly checklists inspections
- Follow all company health and safety policies, including WHMIS and PPE requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous janitorial, cleaning or maintenance experience
- Knowledge of cleaning products,



equipment and safe handling procedures
- Familiarity with WHMIS and Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Reliable, organized and able to work independently
- Positive attitude and professional approach
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities

Physical Requirements This is an active, hands-on position that requires the ability to:
- Stand and walk for most of the shift
- Frequently lift and carry approximately 10–25 kg
- Bend, kneel, squat and reach overhead
- Push and pull cleaning carts and waste bins
- Operate vacuums, floor scrubbers and other cleaning equipment
- Occasionally climb ladders
- Work in areas with varying temperatures, including warm and cold environments
- Work around cleaning chemicals, disinfectants and other workplace hazards while following all required safety procedures
