Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Italian-speaking Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide exceptional care and assistance to individuals in need of support within their homes or care facilities. Duties

- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Assist with medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences.
- Support clients with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring safety at all times.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry,



and maintaining a tidy living environment.
- Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with healthcare teams regarding client progress or concerns.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in assisted living, nursing home, senior care, hospice care, or home care environments.
- Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with disabilities or dementia-related conditions.
- Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities in Italian.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and assisting clients with mobility challenges.
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and adapt to changing client needs.
- Certification as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) or equivalent is preferred; relevant training will be provided if necessary.
