Position: Java Full-stack Developer with Angular Experience

Location: Downtown, Toronto Hybrid

Duration: Long Term Contract

Must have Java, Angular, JSP, AODA. GWT is nice to have. AI

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise-level web applications using Java technologies.
- Build scalable backend services using Java, Java EE, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC .
- Develop and maintain front-end components using HTML, CSS , and contemporary JavaScript frameworks where applicable.
- Design, develop, and integrate REST APIs and SOAP Web Services .
- Work with Oracle and SQL Server databases , including writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Deploy and support applications on JBoss Application Server and cloud/container platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Red Hat OpenShift .
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices for automated deployments and monitoring.
- Utilize ELK Stack for logging, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance analysis.
- Perform unit testing using JUnit and ensure high code quality through automated testing practices.
- Conduct code reviews and remediate vulnerabilities identified through Fortify security scans .




- Ensure applications adhere to AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) compliance standards.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver business solutions.
- Manage source code repositories using Git and track work items through JIRA .
- Troubleshoot application issues in Unix/Linux environments and provide production support when required.
