Role Summary

PTW is seeking local Journeyman Electrical to join our team in Whitecourt, AB. This role involves construction and maintenance electrical work on industrial projects in a fast-paced setting. Ideal candidates are safety-focused, dependable, and experienced working independently and collaboratively within a team setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment
- Perform construction and maintenance electrical work on industrial projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with applicable safety standards and electrical codes
- Complete job documentation, reports, and required project records accurately
- Collaborate with supervisors, project teams, and other trades to support successful project execution
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment

Qualifications / Requirements

- Must be an indentured and certified Electrical Journeyman
- Construction and maintenance electrical experience required
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills




- Ability to take initiative and work independently as well as part of a team
- Reliable and dependable with strong attendance and punctuality

- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety

- Valid safety certifications required

- CSO

- Standard First Aid

- TDG

- WHMIS

- ESC Fall Protection

- H2S Alive
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License required
- Must be authorized to work in Canada
- Must be local to Whitecourt or within commuting distance, or willing to relocate
