We are seeking a skilled and energetic Journeyperson Automotive Technician specializing in Diesel engines to join our dynamic service team. Responsibilities

- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel-powered vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Use schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues accurately.
- Conduct welding and assembly tasks as needed to repair or modify vehicle components.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely and effectively during maintenance procedures.
- Follow dealership procedures for vehicle maintenance schedules to ensure timely service delivery.
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs, timelines,



and maintenance recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all repairs performed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Skills

- Proven dealership experience working on diesel engines or heavy-duty vehicles is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety protocols.
- Experience with automotive repair, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism.
- Familiarity with vehicle schematics, electrical systems, and mechanical assemblies enhances your effectiveness in this role.
